DOCACETAL C MT
Special POM C used for medical technology. Very good sliding and abrasion behaviour. Resistant to organic solvents. Resistant to common sterilization methods and cleaning agents.
DOCACETAL C PE
PE additives ensure excellent sliding properties and improved abrasion resistance.
This homopolymer version has greater mechanical strength, rigidity, smaller thermal expansion and better wear resistance than POM-C, but is not as readily usable in watery, warm medium.
DOCACETAL H TF
PTFE-filled POM-H. Due to the filling material, its characteristics are different from those of the POM-C and POM-H base materials. Due to the PTFE content, it is softer and not as rigid. Conversely, its sliding and wear properties are excellent. Even in the event of large loads and small speeds, sliding without “stick-slip” can be achieved.
PVC is a flame retardant material with an exceptional chemical resistance and also with lower stress cracking. PVC-U shows high mechanical strength, tensile strength and the continuous operating temperature is from -15 °C to +60 °C. It can also be easily machined, glued and welded.
Improved toughness at low temperatures and UV protection.
DOCAÉSZTER VIVAK bronze
50% light permeability at 4 mm sheet thickness. Not UV protected version.
DOCAÉSZTER VIVAK clear
Optical quality, eliminates the unfavorable characteristics of PMMA (plexiglass). Technically and economically, it is an optimal intermediate between the PMMA and the PC materials. Extremely tough material, its formability and plasticity is better than that of PC. Not UV protected, basic version. It can be used in food industry, as well.
DOCAÉSZTER VIVAK UV clear
A version of the regular VIVAK sheet with UV protection on both sides, for outdoor applications.
Available only for request. FEP belongs to the melt fusible material family. It has good diffusion coefficients to PTFE. FEP has excellent ductility and wide range of dimensions.
Available only for request. Just like FEP it belongs to the melt fusible material family. It has excellent transparency among fluoropolymers. It has excellent chemical resistance.
Among the fluoro-polymers PFA has excellent heat stability. Comparing to natural PTFE it has better creep resistance and mechanical properties. Welding is possible. PFA available in thin-walled tubes. Different colours are available.
