Product features

GLASTIC GPO3 is a general purpose electrotechnical mounting board material. Polyester resin bonded glass fibre reinforced sheet, UTR grade. GPO-3 according to NEMA LI-1, UPGM 203 according to IEC 60893. Flame and electric arc resistant, low smoke insulating material. Heat resistance class F (155°C)

Insulating material for electrical applications in environments with high voltages. GPO3 (also known as GPO, GPO-3, UTR 1494, UPM 203, UPGM 203) is available in white and red in a wide range of sizes.

  • Can be used for short periods up to 155 ºC
  • Creepage current strength (CTI): 500 V
  • Dielectric loss factor: 0,01 MHz
  • Dielectric strength in air 18, in oil 23 kV/mm

Main areas of application

Railway, power station and other electrotechnical applications, switch cabinets.

Machining technology

Chipping (turning, milling, drilling, sawing): of the traditional metalworking tools, carbide and diamond tools can be used, but only with a sharp finish. When machining, personal protective equipment is recommended and inhalation of dust should be avoided for health reasons.

Gluing: is feasible.
