DOCASTONE CAS 761 | polyester resin + glass wool
The product range mainly includes laminated composite sheets with high strength and stiffness, high heat resistance and high temperature resistance, used in the electronics industry. Versions are available to meet different needs in terms of desired electrical properties (antistatic, i.e. ESD or electrically insulating), heat resistance, contact chemicals and optical (infrared) reflectivity. The bonding material of the boards is typically polyester (polyester resin) with glass-fibre reinforcement. The available board thickness is 3-12 mm, with a typically very low thickness tolerance (0/+0,2 mm).

Some important features
Turntables, PCBs, bearings, gears and presses, heavy planers, sliding blocks for frame saws and other heavy-duty machine components, as well as material handling surfaces, machine bases, equipment bodies.
Chipping (turning, milling, drilling, sawing): among the traditional metalworking tools, carbide and diamond tools can be used, but only with a sharp finish. When machining, personal protective equipment is recommended and inhalation of dust should be avoided for health reasons.
Gluing: feasible.
