DOCADUR is an unreinforced, unfilled rigid PVC with flame retardant properties, suitable for use from -15°C to +60°C. It can be moulded, glued and welded. Characterised by an excellent chemical resistance and a favourable combination of mechanical properties.
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or rigid PVC (PVC hart, rigid PVC) is one of the first synthetic polymers developed in the early 20th century. Its good machinability, versatility, chemical resistance, flame retardancy and low price make it unavoidable today. Available in a wide range of colours: dark grey, light grey, white, black, red and transparent.
We also offer it in plate, slab, rod and tube formats. Boards are typically available in thicknesses up to 50 mm from mass production. Some thinner boards are foil coated. The basic grade, PVC-U (or PVC U), can be used up to 60 degrees Celsius, while chlorinated PVC (PVC-C or PVC C) can be used up to 80 degrees Celsius. It is one of the more rigid, stiffer materials. It is also available in anti-static (ESD), increased impact resistance and a version specifically designed for medical environments.

Some important features
Industrial aeration systems, air and material ducts, water and chemical tanks, piping systems, filters, electrically insulating components, electroplating tanks, mixing paddles, etching equipment, photographic and phototechnological components, architectural elements, cladding, etc.
