DOCACETAL ESD is a conductive material associated with the basic POM C matrix structure, which results in a product that conducts electrical charges. Compared to native POM C, the surface and volume resistivity of the product is three to four orders of magnitude lower.
Polyoxymethylene, or POM, was first marketed in the USA under the brand name Delrin. While overseas it is mainly the homopolymer version (POM-H, POM H) that has become popular, in Europe it is the copolymer version (POM-C, POM C) that is more popular. In addition to its versatility, its ease of processing has made it popular, and over the past decade it has caught up with polyamide as one of the most widely used engineering plastics in our region. It is also known as polyacetal and sometimes even acetal for short. It is available in a wide range of sizes in sheet, rod and tube formats. Its basic colours are white, black and blue. It is also available in ELS (electrically conductive) and ESD (antistatic).

Some important features
Dimensionally stable, precision parts; small gears, valve seats, springs, sliding elements, cam cams, insulating elements in the electrical industry, machine parts in permanent contact with water (up to 80°C for POM C), rollers, fasteners, etc.
