The production of some basic products, including specific models and sizes of injection moulding machines, as well as automation and accessories, will move from Austria to Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey. Citing inflation and wage pressures, Austrian injection moulding machinery, accessories and robotics equipment supplier Wittmann announced at NPE2024 that production of several products will be relocated to new sites in Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey.
