Quick tool change - the key to efficient production
In plastics processing, productivity is closely related to the ratio of tool change time to total production time, which is increasing due to the very small batch sizes in Just-in-Time production. The tool change assistant integrated in the Engel CC300 control can permanently reduce the average 60-90 minutes of manual tool change to less than 20 minutes and optimise the automatic blow-out function for each tempering cycle.
