Fibre reinforcement improves the modulus, tensile strength and impact resistance of thermoplastics can be significantly increased. The rate of increase is a function of the average fibre length. LFT technologies technologies are developed with the aim of keeping the average fibre length as large as possible, even during even after processing by injection moulding.
