With the litter littering the earth's landscapes and seas, and public opinion against plastics - although everyone agrees that plastics are not to blame - the packaging industry is keen to ensure that their products contribute as little as possible to environmental pollution. A Hungarian-born US entrepreneur is experimenting with a deli supply system using steel or glass containers/containers to deliver food to the consumer. In the future, they could also use plastic containers. Once emptied, the containers will be taken back and reused again and again after proper cleaning. In one Canadian city, a surcharge is imposed on single-serving, single-use containers. And some packaging companies are promoting a circular economy by recycling a much higher proportion of plastics recovered from waste than at present.
