Category B
Main characteristics:

yield stress: 45 MPa,
high toughness (grooved Charpy): 11 KJ/m2 – does not break,
machinable,
wide temperature range for application: from - 40°C to + 80°C,
hardness (Shore): , D 78
good damping capability,
low moisture absorption, good resistance to chemicals,
not UV resistant,
density: 1,1 kg/dm3

Basic grade:
Amorphous polymer, primarily for impact resistant and heat formed applications. It is characterized by great dimensional stability and excellent mechanical damping capability as well as sound insulation. Primarily for indoor applications, sensitive to UV radiation.
Special grade:
The end users produce varnished and electroplated (surface coated) versions out of the ready-made products for outdoor applications.
Main areas of use:
Parts in auto industry, such as car cooler grilles, battery holders, covers, etc. Precision parts, as well as parts used in the instrument manufacturing industry, as well as storage and safety elements, connectors, reservoirs and boxes, fittings and moving elements.
Machining technology:

Cutting (turning, milling, drilling, sawing): these plastics have the best cutting properties. Traditional metalworking – or in certain cases, woodworking tools – carbon steel, rapid steel, hard metal, diamond can be used in sharp design. Cooling is recommended, which allows high cutting rates e. g. v = 200–500 m/min for turning, v = 200–400 m/min for milling, v = 50–100 m/min for drilling.
Adhesive bonding and welding: feasible.
Good electroplating properties.
