Main characteristics: 

high mechanical strength (55 - 75 MPa) and hardness
high service temperature (220 - 260 °C),
good wear resistance at elevated temperatures, too
low coefficient of friction on grinded steel,
good dimension stability
excellent chemical resistance
good electrical insulating capability (natural)
difficult to burn
reistance to high energy radiation

Basic grade: 
Unreinforced, unfilled natural PPS.
Special grade: 
Glassfiber and lubricant reinforced PPS composites.
Main areas of use: 
It is offerd to use in case of high temperatures (above 100°C), need of stiffness, wear reistance, chemical stability and other general plastics are not suitable e.g. PA, POM, PETP, PEI, PES és PSU failes. Also important to clarify that other HPM materials e.g. PEEK are not necessary to use. Typical applications: parts from medical devices, automotive industry, aviation, nuclear- and electrical industry, machine and agricultural equipment production.
Machining technology: 

Cutting (turning, milling, drilling, sawing): hard metal, diamond can be used only in sharp design. Cooling is recommended, which allows high cutting rates, e. g. v = 250-500 m/min for turning and milling, v = 10 –30 m/min for drilling.
Adhesive bonding: feasible.


Extruded rods
Color: natural

Unreinforced, unfilled PPS, with excellent resistance to chemicals and durable heat resistance up to 200°C.

Color: natural, black

Due to the glass fiber reinforcement, the dimensional stability and thermal shape stability is significantly improved. Its short-term thermal rating reaches 280°C.

Extruded rods
Color: blue

Compared to the natural PPS it has improved sliding behaviour with better dimensional stability due to glass fiber and lubricant reinforcement.

Color: black

Carbon fibre, PTFE and graphite reinforced composite version for better sliding properties and wear resistance comparing to the natural PPS.
